GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:: 
FFA will be collecting money this week during  FFA Week for the Children's Hospital.  The winning class will have double lunch!  Please donate!

JOB OPPORTUNITY:  The newly formed FR Youth Sports Organization is currently accepting application for those interested in umpiring baseball and softball games for the Fort Recovery Youth Leagues  for the 2012 summer season. This includes game from Major League (3rd & 4th grades) through Pony League (7th & 8th grades.) Applications are available in the high school office or at the Village Hall. Deadline for returning completed applications is Monday, March 5th. Call 419-375-1056 if you have questions.

CLASS/CLUB NEWS: 
STOP (Students Teaching Others Prevention) will meet on Monday, Feb. 27th from 7:30-8:30 at Coldwater High School's Cav Room.  All those who have held their D.A.R.E. promise or want to start over with holding true to your D.A.R.E. promise are invited to attend.  Meet youth from other Mercer County Schools who have the same beliefs on alcohol and drugs as you do. Enter the school through the East side on 118..

SCHOLASTIC TEAM--ALL JV & VARSITY MEMBERS: Anyone interested in going to the tournament at OSU on March 3rd, must sign up in the office by the end of today.  Remember to report promptly at 3:25 for the online tournament action today after school.

SOPHOMORES: This is a reminder that your yellow registration sheets are due today in Mrs. Schade-Hein's English class. Make sure you have all required signatures by class time.

SOPHOMORES: ALL Sophomores will meet Friday during 1st Channel 1 in Mr. Evers's room.  Every sophomore needs to attend. Please be on time, so we can quickly get you out of the meeting and to lunch.

SPORTS:
GIRLS SECTIONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT: Fort Recovery girl's basketball team beat St. Henry 49-48 last evening.  Leading the way for FR were Kelly Nietfeld with 14 followed by Chelsea Pottkotter with 10 and Olivia Schwieterman with 9.  They now play Saturday vs. Minster at 6:15 at Coldwater High School. There are no pre-sale tickets.    

BOYS SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT PLAY  WILL BEGIN on Friday, March 2nd at 6:15 p.m. at Coldwater High School.   The boys will play the winner of the Minster-New Knoxville game.
