GENERAL NEWS:
ALL STUDENTS: CLUB-SIGN UP DAY is today starting at 3 P.M. We will follow the short pep assembly schedule.

CHANTS 2010: Fort Recovery High School ’s 2010 Chant Yearbooks are expected to arrive Thursday, September 16th. If you want to purchase a book this fall, the cost is $45.00 and not $25.00 as stated in September issue of the Fort Site Journal.

JOB OPPORTUNITY: JR Manufacturing would like to hire 3-4 students to do clean-up and box parts in the afternoons or after school. You must be 16 to apply. See Mrs. Kaiser for details.

CLASS/CLUB NEWS:
TRI-STAR INFO: Congratulations to the following students who were elected officers of the Tri Star's Business Professionals Of America: Vice President: Kelly Brown, Treasurer: Riggs Florence, and Parliamentarian: Kelly Wendel. Congratulations!

SCHOLASTIC BOWL TEAM MEMBERS: Practice will be today from 3:30-5 and tomorrow from 7-8:15 P.M. It is essential that you attend these practices. Both sessions will be held in room 127.

SENIORS: Reminder, senior superlative nominations (no the whole packet) are due to Mrs. Jutte. Shelby Alig, or Leah Grieshop by Friday, September 31st.

NEWSPAPER FUND RAISER: The newspaper staff will be selling candy bars and Doritos in the lobby today during lunch time. Cost is $.75 each or 2 for $1.00.

HOMECOMING: Voting will take place this week. Freshman will vote in Mr. Evers class, Sophomores in Government class with Mr. Evers or Mr. Perkeybile, Juniors in English class with Mr. Hubbard or Mrs. Shade-Hein, and Seniors in World History with Mr. Perkeybile. If you do not have one of these classes or teachers, you need to see Mr. Evers.

SPORTS:
PRE-SALE FOOTBALL TICKETS: Tickets for Friday's away game with Versailles will be sold today from 7:45-4, Thursday 11-4, and Friday 7:45-2:30 in the high school office.

BOWLING: Any high school boy or girl interested in bowling on the bowling team, please sign up in the office. The list will be in the office until Friday, Sept. 10th.

GIRL BASKETBALL PLAYERS: Open gym will begin this Sunday, Sept. 12th, from 7-8 P.M. in the high school gym for all girls playing basketball this year.

FRESHMEN FOOTBALL: The freshman football team was defeated by Versailles 14-40. Kyle Timmerman had two touchdowns and Quarterback Wyatt Blockberger completed a pass to Ben Dilworth for a 2-point conversion.
