MEETINGS
Attention ALL SMART members: There will be a meeting Monday, February 6th at 12 pm in Mr. Gower’s room. Mystery night is rescheduled for Monday, February 27th from 3:30-5 pm in the Auditeria.
SPORTS
The Junior High Boy’s Basketball teams played St. Henry yesterday. The 7th grade boys lost 27-30. Caleb Martin led the team with 8 points. Jason Roessner and Travis Sutter each added 5 points. The 8th grade boys lost 34-40. JJ Overton led the team with 12 points, and Wes Wenning added 8 points. The boys will play at Marion Local on Monday. Good Luck Boys!
The 6th grade volleyball team will practice from 6:30-7:45 pm on Monday, February 6th. Girls are reminded to turn in their form and payment into Coach Post.
The Junior High Girl’s Basketball teams will play Marion Local at home on Tuesday. Good Luck Ladies!
NOTES
Attention: All 6th, 7th and 8th graders: Sign up for Mr. & Mrs. Cupid. You must sign up yourself. Another person may not sign your name. The sign up posters will be up until Tuesday, February 7th. We will vote next Friday, February 10th in our 5th period classes. The winners will be announced on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.
The Fort Recovery Band Boosters will be sponsoring an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Sunday, February 5th, at Fort Recovery American Legion from 8:30 am -12:30 pm. Tickets are $5 each. Children 5 and under are free. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds go toward the band trip to Florida. Come eat and support the band.
We want to wish the following students Good Luck at the Mercer County Spelling Bee this Monday, February 6th at 7 pm: Logan Ranly, Claire Kinder, Tori Vaughn, Kyle Timmerman, Athena Evers and alternate Lilly Wehrkamp. The event will be held at Wright State University-Lake Campus. Good Luck Spellers!
