Good Morning and welcome to another great day at Fort Recovery Elementary School. Teachers on Bus Duty are Mrs. Stammen and Mrs. Eilerman in front and Mrs. Klosterman at the PK/K door.

Attention 3rd, 4th and 5th grade book club members. Your next meeting will be Thursday January 26th from 3:30-4:30.

Attention all students Mrs. Hein-Evers has some expectations for you to follow at High School Basketball Games

1) If you are sitting in student section you need to sit in that section and cheer on our boys and girls basketball teams

2) Remember our good character traits and use them—Responsibility, Respect, and Caring

3) You are not allowed to climb under the bleachers, hang out in the stairway, throw candy and other any items, or run in the hallways

4) If a staff or community member addresses a student concern, you could lose your privilege of sitting in student section at future games.

Please remember these rule and that you are representing Ft. Recovery at the games and that you are setting an example for other to follow

Spring Slam Volleyball forms for any girl in 3rd or 4th grade who would like to participate are due on Friday, January 27th. Additional forms are in the office if you need one.

The Ft. Recovery Cub Scouts are collecting caps and lids to be recycled. They will be used to make benches for the Fort Recovery Community. Caps and lids can be no larger than 8 inches in diameter and are being collected in the office until February!

Attention all students from now until February 17th at the Public Library for every 100 books checked out by students, F.R.E.A will donate 1 book to the Public Library and 1 book to the school library. Please ask at the library how to sign up when you check out your books!

This year we are concentrating on moving kids to be courageous, compassionate and responsible members of the community by telling you about real heroes through the Giraffe Heroes Project and giving you something to say YES to! Here is a real life example of what some kids are doing to make a difference in the world.
