MEETINGS

SPORTS

There is a sign-up sheet in the middle school office for current 6th, 7th and 8th graders interested in Cross Country for next school year. There will also be a cross country meeting Friday, May 19th during announcements in Mr. Gower’s room.

Current 8th grade VB players: you will meet with Coach Kahlig on Monday at 11:45 am in Mr. Gower’s room.

There is a Matt Light All conference football camp for boys ages 8-14 at Greenville Harmon Field on June 12 & 13. There are flyers in the office.

The Grand Lake Mariners Baseball Camp is June 19th and 20th. This is open to any boy ages 8-14 years of age. Cost of the camp is $45. There are registration forms in the office.

NOTES

Thursday pm will be in the health fair. Students are assigned to groups by grade level. The lists of groups are hanging up at the end of the Middle School Hallway. If you do not locate your name, please let the MS office know this.

All books must be returned to the Media Center by this Thursday, May 18th. This is also the last day for Reading Counts quizzes for the school year.

Students, are you interested in computer programming, art & design, battling robots, or owning your own business some day? If so, then the Invention Project Summer Camp could be right for you! Any interested students, should pick up a form in the middle school office.

Student Council will be hosting a middle school dance, this Friday, May 19th. It is open to all Fort Recovery Students in grades 6, 7, and 8. It will be from 7-9 pm in the gym. Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, Thursday and Friday during lunch. Presale tickets are $4 and are $5 at the door. Hope to see you at the dance!

MS Field Day will be Thursday, May 25th. All students can sign up for 3 events only for field day to participate in. You can make your own teams for the various events. All students must sign up by this Friday, May 19th.

Please check the lost and found. There are lots of items that need to be claimed. It is right outside the MS office.
