MEETINGS
HS cheerleaders the fitting is rescheduled for Saturday, June 3rd at 9:30 am in the community room. Please check the cheer website the day of in case there would be a cancellation. Any questions to contact coach Courtney.
SPORTS
Coach Blockberger will meet will current 6th and 7th grade boys interested in playing basketball next school year this Thursday at 8:10 am in Study Hall.
Fort Recovery’s St. Clair 5K Run will be held on Saturday, July 22nd at 8:30 AM. We would love to have a lot of FR school student support for our local race. The race starts with the fire of the cannon right in front of the block houses next to the museum! You can find the race entry in this month’s Fort Site Journal or download it online from the Mercer Health 5K Challenge website. We hope to see you at the starting line!
There is a Matt Light All conference football camp for boys ages 8-14 at Greenville Harmon Field on June 12 & 13. There are flyers in the office.
The Grand Lake Mariners Baseball Camp is June 19th and 20th. This is open to any boy ages 8-14 years of age. Cost of the camp is $45. There are registration forms in the office.
Sports physicals will be Wednesday, July 12th from 6-8 pm in the SAC. If you did not receive a sports physical form, please stop in the office and pick one up.
NOTES
Locker clean out will be on Thursday. Please listen to your teachers when it is your turn to clean out your locker.
Scene 75 field trip is Wednesday, May 31st from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Please meet in the Elementary/Middle School front parking lot. Lunch is provided along with a $20 gift card to spend at Scene 75. The list of students going is posted at the end of the Middle School hallway. Any questions, please see the office.
All students need to pick up any artwork left in the Art room before the end of the day today.
All students involved in MS Idol will be treated to pizza today during lunch in Mr. Gower’s room starting at 11:22 am. Please bring $.75 or a drink with you. This includes all helpers also!
End of the year newsletters went home yesterday. Please take them home. They have the Student supply list for next school year included in it. Mrs. Fullenkamp will pass out 7th and 8th grade newsletters, and Mr. Guggenbiller will pass out 6th grade ones. There are extra forms in the office.
Students, if you are interested in participating in the First Lego League team next year please remember to complete the form and turn it in to the office by Thursday, May 25th.
Attention 6th & 7th graders: if you do the summer reading program at the Ft. Recovery Public Library, you will receive extra credit in your LA classes next year for the 1st nine weeks!
There will be no salads this week for students or staff members.

MS Incentive will be Thursday starting at 10:45 am. Students who qualify will report to the gym. Non-incentive students will remain in class and will eat in the cafeteria like normal.
Students: in order to participate in field day, you must have a positive lunch balance, book fees paid, library books returned to the library and any other miscellaneous fees taken care of prior to the start of field day. Please stop in the office if you need to check on this.
The concession stand will be open during field day rain or shine.
On Field Day, Mrs Ranly will do the egg/spoon race between 1-1:45 pm. If you want to do this, please come between these times. At 1:45 pm, the euchre tournament will start inside Mr. Gower’s room.
Students, are you interested in computer programming, art & design, battling robots, or owning your own business some day? If so, then the Invention Project Summer Camp could be right for you! Any interested students, should pick up a form in the middle school office.
Please check the lost and found. There are lots of items that need to be claimed. It is right outside the MS office.
