MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

MEETINGS
Fort Pioneers will have a 4-H meeting today at 5:30 pm at the High School Commons.
Student Council will have a full group meeting on Tuesday in Mrs. Jutte’s room during lunch.
Attention All MS Quiz Bowl team members: The first meeting will be during lunch this Wednesday, January 16th.
Please bring your tray and a pencil.  Meeting will be in Mrs. Weigel's room.
SPORTS
Pre-sale tickets for Friday’s night home basketball game with New Knoxville will be on sale Thursday in the MS
office from 8-9:45 am. Pre-sale prices are $4 for students and $6 for adults. All tickets at the door are $7.00. There
are NO pre-sale tickets for Saturday’s game at Arcanum.
Attention 7 th and 8 th graders: It is time to sign up for summer baseball and softball. Registration forms are available
from your Science teacher. All forms must be returned by JANUARY 18 th . Please note the deadline is much earlier
this school year.
The JH boys’ basketball team played Russia yesterday. The 8 th grade won in OT 41-40. The 7 th grade team lost 21-37.
Lyndon Brinkerhoff led the team with 11 points. Please note ? the boys will only have a 7 th grade game this
Thursday at New Knoxville. There is no 8 th grade team. Game time is still 5 pm.
The Junior High girls’ basketball team will play New Knoxville at home today. Good luck Lady Indians!
The Cheerleaders will be hosting a Cheer Fun Day on Saturday, February 9 th from 8:30 am – 12 pm at the Student
Athletic Complex at the High School. Participants will learn chants, cheers and dance with the FRHS cheerleaders.
This is open to grades K-6 th grade. There are forms in the office. Registration is due Friday, January 18 th . Cost is $20.
The Ft. Recovery K of C will have their annual free throw competition on Sunday, January 20 th at the High School
gym starting at 12 pm.
