MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

MEETINGS 
Attention students in grades 7-12: Are you interested in joining the Mercer County Youth to Youth Group? This
group focuses on youth empowering youth. Meetings will be held on the 2 nd and 4 th Monday of each month. The kick
off meeting will be Monday, September 23 rd at Briarwood Village from 6-8 pm. There are flyers in the Middle School
Office if you are interested.
SPORTS
Ft Recovery 7th grade volleyball beat New Knoxville 25-8 and 25-5. Kayla Keitkamp had 6 aces 3 kills, Emma Will 7
aces 1 kill, Karlie Niekamp 2 kills, Kennedy Muhlenkamp 8 aces 3 kills, Ella Schoen 1 ace 1 kill, Mara Wenning 1
ace. The 8th grade beat NK 25-14 and 25-21. Marissa Schoen had 3 aces while Autumn Jutte and Teigen Fortkamp
each added 6 kills. The girls play Coldwater at home on Thursday. Good Luck ladies!
The Junior High boy’s football teams play New Bremen at home on Thursday.
Pre-sale football tickets for Friday night’s game at New Bremen will be on sale in the Middle School Office this
Thursday from 8-10 am. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the gate are $7.00.
The Ft. Recovery Cheerleaders are selling Pink Out t-shirts and sweatshirts. The pink out game will be Friday,
October 11 th versus Anna. Forms and money can be turned into the office by Friday, September 27 th . There are extra
forms in the office.
The Ft. Recovery Athletic Boosters are sponsoring their fall sportswear sale. There are a variety of shirts, hoodies,
polo shirts, pullovers, crew shirts and duffel bags. Forms and money can be turned into the office by Monday,
September 30 th . There are extra forms in the office.
NOTES
Students, beginning Monday, Sept. 16th, your computer sign-in information will now be your login information for
ProgressBook. So, whatever password and username you use to login to your Chromebook at school will be the
information you use to sign in to ProgressBook at home. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Stahl. Thank you.
