SPORTS
Fort Recovery Elementary / Middle School will host the 2019 Laffalot Summer Camp July 15 th – 19 th . Camp will take
place each day from 9 am to 2 pm at school. Cost is $92 per student. This is open to campers ages 6-12. Registration
forms are available in the Middle School Office.
NOTES
The Quiz Bowl team competed at Van Wert Schools last night. Congratulations to the team of Chase Kaiser, Alix
Englehardt, Lucas Acheson, Owen Knapke, Trevor Heitkamp, Ava Englehardt and Anna Roessner! They won their
division last night. Their next meet is Saturday, March 16 th at St. Marys. Good Luck to the entire quiz bowl team!
Reminder that class registration forms for current 7th grade students should be turned in to Mrs. Gerlach by TODAY. 
Today is the end of the 3 rd nine weeks. Make sure you have your reading counts points completed, any missing or late
work turned into your teachers and library books returned or renewed.

Spring Parent teacher conferences will be on Thursday, March 21 st from 4-7:30 pm. Parents can access the link at
www.fortrecoveryschools.org home page. The link is located on the home page below the sports pictures under the
word News. It is titled 2019 Spring Parent Teacher Conference Sign up. You will receive a confirmation email
with your conference time with teachers. Should you have questions, please contact the Middle School Office.
The St. Bauldrick’s Foundation will be sponsoring “Rock the Bald and the Ponytail Chop” TONIGHT from 7-9 pm at
the St. Joe CK of A Hall. This is the first year girls can also participate in the program. You will need to be able to
donate at least 8 inches of hair in order to participate. Should you have any questions, you can check out the website,

8 th Graders: If you plan to take CC+ Computer Apps at FRHS next school year, you must complete your intent form
to participate and your application by April 1 st to Mrs. Kaiser. The Accuplacer test will be offered April 8 th or 10 th .
