MEETINGS
Student Council members are reminded to wear their student council t-shirts on Friday, January 12 th for your group
photo.
Are you good at trivia? Do you enjoy watching "Jeopardy" on television? Then maybe the Quiz Bowl team is for
you! If you are interested in trying out for the team, sign up on the sheet outside Mrs. Weigel's room by Thursday of
this week. The tryouts will take place on Friday during lunch in Mrs. Weigel's room. Eat your lunch and then report
to her room by 11:45 AM. This is open to students in grades 6, 7, or 8. See Mrs. Weigel if you have any questions.
SPORTS
All current 8 th grade volleyball players: please meet outside of Coach Guggenbiller’s room at 12:50 pm today for a
short meeting.
6 th grade boys’ basketball will have practice this Saturday from1-2:30 pm in the EMS gym. Coach will have practice
schedules ready for you then!
The JH girls’ basketball team played New Bremen on Tuesday. The 7 th grade lost 2-24. Audra Bubp had 2 points.
The 8 th grade lost 11-28. Emma Kahlig and Lilie Leuthold had 3 points each.
The JH boys’ basketball team will play at New Bremen today. Good Luck gentlemen!
Attention 6 th grade girls: the Lil’ Indians Cheerleading fun day will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Mr.
Guggenbiller will pass out registration forms in Science class. There are extra forms in the office. Last day to register
is Friday, January 26 th .
NOTES
Friday’s menu will change. We will have pancake wrap, hash browns, orange juice, fruit snack and milk.
Please make sure you have all your obligations taken care of prior to receiving your report card. This includes
overdue library books, book fees not paid, must have a positive lunch balance, and any other fees from teachers.
There will be a STAR assembly today at 1:30 pm in the Auditeria. You will be called down by grade levels so listen
for the announcement.
FRIDAY, January 12 th is Activity and Candid Picture day in the Middle School. Band, Choir and clubs, please check
with your teacher if you need to bring in a special shirt or clothes for the picture. The photographer will also be taking
candid shots of students all around the school building that day as well.
ATTENTION! Tri Star Career Compact’s annual Open House is RESCHEDULED for Monday evening, January 22 nd
from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Check out one, or all, of the great career technical programs offered at our locations in Celina,
Coldwater, and St. Marys. Take this opportunity to talk to instructors and investigate the great hands-on educational
opportunities available. Information and photos of our new Tri Star 2.0 facility will be on display. Visit the Tri Star
