This week is Red Ribbon Week Mrs. Muhlenkamp has activities planned for each grade
level. You will receive your red ribbons today. Please make sure you wear them each
day to show that you choice to live above the influence. Congratulations to the follow
Kindergarten Red Ribbon Week Coloring Contest winners. You can come to the office
immediately after the announcements for your prize. Kenzie Wendel in Mrs. Winner’s
class, Julia Westgerdes in Mrs. Bertke’s Class, Branston Pohlman in Mrs. Brewer’s
class and Rayla Staugler from Mrs. Wendel’s class.
The Elementary Student Council is sponsoring a canned food drive from October 23 rd
thru November 10 th . All donations will go to the local food pantry in Fort Recovery and
can be placed in the boxes that are in each hallway. Thank you for helping those in
need.
Open House will be Monday, October 30th from 5:30-7:30 pm. The PTO is sponsoring a
Turkey Dinner from 5:00-7:00PM. Tickets are $6.00 each and are pre-sale only. PTO
Raffle tickets are $3 for $1.00 and will be sold up until the time of the drawing which will
be at 6:30PM.
Parent Teacher Conference forms went home last week. Parent teacher conferences
will be Thursday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 14th. Forms are due today,
October 20 th . Additional forms are in the office if you need them.
Picture retake day is Wednesday October 25 th starting at 9:00AM. Students if you wish
to have your picture retaken please bring your entire picture packet back with you to
give to the photographers on the 25 th . Additional forms are in the office if you need
them.
The Cooper Farms Canned Meat Fundraiser Delivery day is Wednesday October 25 th
from 2:30-6:00 at the bus barn. Each student will deliver their individual orders. Thank
you to everyone who ordered.
During the month of October, the High School Office will be selling Spirit Socks to any
student that is interested in purchasing a pair. They are Fort Recovery colors with our
Indian logo and only cost $15. Additional order forms are in the office. All orders are due
by Nov. 3rd.

This year we are concentrating on Above the Line Behavior by learning about the
following R-Factors: Press Pause, Get Your Mind Right, Step Up, Adjust & Adapt,
