Students in 1st-5th grade, today is the Summer Reading and Math Incentive day. If you have not done so please give your papers to your homeroom teachers. 1st and 2nd grade will be having an ice cream party and 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will be going to the pool. Please remember to listen to your teachers and enjoy your reward for working hard all summer.

Just a reminder to all students that a lot of papers went home with you on open building night. Please return those papers to your homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

This year we will be having Theme’s for the home football games. The Theme for tonight is Crazy Purple. If you are going to the game wear “Crazy Purple” to show your Fort Recovery Spirit!

Good Character Trait of the week:

This year we are focusing on what I call the 6 pillars of character. They are:

Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship

You can view these character words on banners hanging from Main Street. We expect that you will treat the banners with respect by not touching them. This week we will focus on Introducing the 7 pillars of character.

Have a great day!
