This week is Red Ribbon Week. The theme this year is: Love Yourself, Be Drug Free” Today is “Neon Day to say “Blind out Drugs.” Tomorrow is Wear Red Day to say “Love Yourself Before Drugs!”

Congratulations to todays Red Ribbon Week Winners. If you are wearing your red ribbon please come down to the office for a prize.

We want to wish good luck to the students as travel to see the presidential Turkeys today. Students please make sure you wear proper clothing for the weather because there is no heat at the barns.

Attention all students today is picture makeup day. An announcement will be made when they are ready for you to come to the Auditeria if you wish to have your pictures taken. Please bring your entire picture packets with you when you go down to have your picture taken. .

Attention all students on Saturday November 15th from 2-5pm there will be a Fitness Fun Day in the EMS gym. This is open to students in 1st through 6th grade. Deadline to turn in forms is Friday November 7th. Forms can be turned into the Elementary or Middle School office. All money raised will be going to a spinal research organization for paralyzed kids.

The elementary student council is having a canned food drive from Nov. 3 to Nov. 25. There will be boxes in each hallway. We encourage everyone to bring in canned food. All the proceeds will be going to the Fort Recovery food pantry.

Good Character Trait of the week:

This year we are focusing on what I call the 6 pillars of character. They are:

Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship

You can view these character words on banners hanging from Main Street. We expect that you will treat the banners with respect by not touching them. This week we will focus on Sharing.
