Are you ready to Rally? The Junior class will be selling Rally Towels for the Fort Recovery Local Schools student section. The cost will be $5.00. Students if you wish to purchase a towel go to Main Street at the start of your lunch recess. Then put your towel in your locker or cubby and head out to recess. The Rally towels will be sold from now until Friday October 25th. The will also be available in each school office. All proceeds will go to the 2015 Prom.

Open House will be Monday October 27th from 5:30-7:30. If you ordered a dinner from the PTO they will be available from 5:00-7:00 for dine in or carry out. PTO raffle tickets will be available to purchase on Main Street until the drawing at 6:30.

Students don’t forget to ask your parents to sign up for the upcoming blood drive on Monday October 27th from 1-7. There are forms in the office if they would like to sign up or they can go online to www.redcrossblood.org and put in sponsor code fortrec.

The elementary student council is having a canned food drive from Nov. 3 to Nov. 25. There will be boxes in each hallway. We encourage everyone to bring in canned food. All the proceeds will be going to the Fort Recovery food pantry.

Good Character Trait of the week:

This year we are focusing on what I call the 6 pillars of character. They are:

Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship

You can view these character words on banners hanging from Main Street. We expect that you will treat the banners with respect by not touching them. This week we will focus on Perserverance.

Have a great day!

Now please stand and join us in saying Our Pledge of Allegiance.
