Attention all students. It is getting warmer outside and things are thawing out. Because of this we are going to ask that you stay off the grass at recess. Your teachers will let you know when it is OK for you to go back on the grass.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to Pennies for Patients. Yesterday we collected $165.22 for a Grand Total of $2,088.39. In the race for the Pizza Party Mr. Heitkamp’s class is in first place with $202.79, Mrs. Stammen’s classroom is in 2nd place with $190.63 and Mrs.Pohlman’s class is in 3rd place with $153.71 Way to go! Your donations will go to help children who are fighting childhood cancers. The last day to turn in donations is this Thursday February 11th. The money counters for today at noon recess are: Elizabeth Alig, Anna North and Sophie Pearson and for last recess are: Ellie Will, Allison Knapke, and Saige Leuthold.

The next archery shoot for 4-8 grades will be February 18 after school. If you would like to participate please see Mr. Eyink.

The Fort Recovery FFA chapter is selling T-shirts to support the MPS foundation in honor of three local children. The money will be used for research to battle MPS. All orders are due by Friday February 19th. Additional order forms are available in the office if you need one.

The Fort Pioneers will have a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9th, in the Auditoria from 3:30-4:30. They will be making project Linus Blankets

Fort Recovery yearbooks forms are due February 19th. The cost is $16.00. Additional forms are available in the office if you need one.

The Ft. Recovery High School Cheerleaders will have a “Little Indian Cheer Camp” on Saturday, February 13th from 8:30-11:30 am in the High School gym. The girls will then cheer at halftime of the JV/Varsity game vs. St. Marys.

Attention all students the Fort Recovery Education Association needs your help to help them donate books to the Public Library. For every 100 books that students in grades K-12 check out at the public library between January 11 and February 16th the FREA will donate 1 book to each the public and the school library. Please see the posters hanging in the hallway or ask at the Public Library for details.

You can view these character words on banners hanging from Main Street. We expect that you will treat the banners with respect by not touching them.
