Good Morning and welcome to another great day at Fort Recovery Elementary School.  Teachers on Bus Duty are Mrs. Bates and Mrs. Fortner in front and Mrs. Wendel at the PK/K door.

Notes

Picture day for K-5th grade is today.  Students if you wish to order pictures please take your picture envelope with you when you get your picture taken.  A parent volunteer will come to your classroom when they are ready for you. 

 

Here is the moment you have been waiting for.  The classroom that had the highest sales and wins a pizza party lunch tomorrow is Mr. Guggenbiller’s  room and the winners of the Fort Recovery Merchants Gift Certificates for highest overall sales are: 1st place—Cole Shoemaker, 2nd place Cora and Ella Kremer and 3rd place Mason and Garrett Diller.

 

Tomorrow will be our Cooper Farms Canned Meat Fundraiser Incentive day.  Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade who qualify will enjoy a movie in the morning and get to go to the park in the afternoon.  Homeroom teachers have the list of who qualifies for each event.  Please see them if you have any questions. 

 

Pre-sale tickets for Friday’s home football game with Minster will be on sale Thursday in the middle school office from 8 to 10:00 am  We will not have pre-sale tickets on Friday with school being out of session for the day. Pre-sale ticket prices are $4 for students and $ 6 for adults and all tickets at the gate are $6.00.

 

3rd 4th and 5th grade book club members, your first meeting will be on Thursday September 22nd from 3:30-4:30

 

Any 3rd, 4th or 5th grade student who would like run for student council must have their permission form turned in by Thursday September 29th

 

Just a reminder to all 4th and 5th grade students that you need to use your manners when going through the cafeteria line and purchasing extras.  Extras are a privilege not a requirement and if good manners are not show that privilege will be removed.  Please and Thank you are very important words. 

 

Cooper Farms Canned Meat Fundraiser pick up day will be 10/26/16 at the bus barn from 2:30-6:00. Parents—If you have any questions please call the elementary office at 419-375-2768.   

 

This year we are concentrating on moving kids to be courageous, compassionate and responsible members of the community by telling you about real heroes through the Giraffe Heroes Project and giving you something to say YES to!  Here is a real life example of what some kids are doing to make a difference in the world.
