On May 3rd 2018, The Fort Recovery Computer Network was the victim of a Ransomware Attack. We were able to recover all Data from backups of the servers without having to pay any ransom. We have changed all of our important passwords and will be initiating a network wide password reset for all users. All staff and student personal information is still safe and was not affected by the attack as this information is housed on servers outside of our network. The Fort Recovery IT Staff is working with outside IT professionals to identify any other potential security issues on our network.
