MIDDLE SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS

MEETINGS

Current 6th and 7th grade VB players: Coach Guggenbiller wants to meet with you before lunch today in his room.

Current 8th grade VB players: you will meet with Coach Kahlig today at 11:45 am in Mr. Gower’s room.

JH Cheerleaders: there will be a meeting on Tuesday during announcements in Mr. Gower’s room.

SPORTS

JH Cheerleaders: please bring your 31 forms to the office before lunch today.

There is a Matt Light All conference football camp for boys ages 8-14 at Greenville Harmon Field on June 12 & 13. There are flyers in the office.

The Grand Lake Mariners Baseball Camp is June 19th and 20th. This is open to any boy ages 8-14 years of age. Cost of the camp is $45. There are registration forms in the office.

NOTES

Attention 6th & 7th graders: if you do the summer reading program at the Ft. Recovery Public Library, you will receive extra credit in your LA classes next year for the 1st nine weeks!

There will be no salads this week for students or staff members.

Lunch Menu this week:

Tuesday, May 23rd Assorted Sandwiches, tater tots, fruit and milk

Wednesday, May 24th Pizza, Quesadillas, corn dogs, broccoli, fruit and milk

Thursday, May 25th Hot dog, baked beans, chips, applesauce and milk

MS Incentive will be Thursday starting at 10:30 am. Students who qualify will be treated to an outdoor DJ and a kick-off to summer cookout. Watch for the lists to be posted on Tuesday afternoon in the MS hallway. To qualify, you must complete reading counts for the nine weeks, receive no D’s or F’s and receive no disciplinary actions such as detention.

Students: in order to participate in field day, you must have a positive lunch balance, book fees paid, library books returned to the library and any other miscellaneous fees taken care of prior to the start of field day. Please stop in the office if you need to check on this.

On Field Day, Mrs Ranly will do the egg/spoon race between 1-1:45 pm. If you want to do this, please come between these times. At 1:45 pm, the euchre tournament will start inside Mr. Gower’s room.

Students, are you interested in computer programming, art & design, battling robots, or owning your own business some day? If so, then the Invention Project Summer Camp could be right for you! Any interested students, should pick up a form in the middle school office.

Please check the lost and found. There are lots of items that need to be claimed. It is right outside the MS office.
