Today (Wednesday, March 18th) is our last E-Day for the school year (E-Day #3). Our staff will be at school and available for interaction for the E-Day lessons today. On Thursday, March 19th, we will begin utilizing the Emergency Remote Learning Plan. The first item on the Parents/Students tab of the district website is labeled CoronaVirus INFO / Emergency Remote Learning. There you will find links, resources and information specific to the Fort Recovery ERL Plan.
In an attempt to meet the needs of our students, teaching staff members will be available electronically each weekday through the current closure period, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Teachers will provide responsive interaction from school or through their work-from-home connection. Please continue to monitor our website and social media pages for updates during the school closure period.
As previously mentioned, our food service department will provide lunches from 11:30 - 1:00 at the Elementary - Middle School to students eligible for Free/ Reduced Lunches. This will also start on Thursday (weekdays) with pick-up on the kindergarten/ preschool side of the building. Our staff is working hard to ensure the availability of these lunches. Therefore, we hope that eligible families will work together to walk or drive the students to the school during this 90 minute window.
