Position Available: Throwers Coach
Fort Recovery Local Schools is looking for a Throwers Coach for Junior High and High School Track and Field for the upcoming spring season.

Work with student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills. Actively encourage community support for the athletic program. Uses each contact with the public as an opportunity to promote a positive impression of the school district.
Encourage athletes to embrace academic achievements as an important priority.
Maintain high standards for student conduct.  Uphold the athletic conduct code.
Inform athletes about participation responsibilities (e.g., eligibility standards, permission forms, physical examinations, awards requirements, insurance, etc.).
Carry out a practice schedule.
Provide the athletic director and head coach a copy of all student communications.
Help develop off-season activities (e.g., summer training, clinics, etc.).
Instruct athletes in precautions and techniques to help prevent injuries.
Provide close supervision and take reasonable precautions to ensure student safety.    
Promote a favorable image of team members in the school and community.        

Experience/Certifications Needed:
Knowledge of throwing shotput and discus
Clear criminal record.
Completion of all pupil activity supervisor validation requirements.
