Shutting down your laptop

• Students should be shutting down their laptop when leaving for the day. 
• Shutdown should be accomplished by going to the START menu and selecting SHUTDOWN.
• The power button should NEVER be held in to power off your laptop!

Before you Bring your laptop into the Tech Room for repair, please answer these questions so the Technician can better assist you.

• Have I properly shutdown my computer recently?
• When did the issue start?
• Has the device sustained a fall recently?
