There will be a Chili Supper today at the Barrenbrugge Field/Bus Barn before the football game against Minster Wildcats starting at 5:00 pm. They will be serving chili, hot dogs, turkey sandwiches, desserts, and drinks.

We want to wish good luck today to 2nd grade as they travel to Aullwood nature center. Please make sure you listen to your teachers and chaperones and have a great time!

Attention all students due to the cancellation yesterday we have a menu change. On Monday we will be having macaroni & cheese, PB&J sandwich, carrots, strawberries, and milk for lunch. The rest of the week will be as planned.

The Fort Pioneers 4-H club will have it first meeting Oct. 13th in the Middle School Auditeria from 3:30-4:30. New members are welcome must be in the 3rd grade or older. They will have election of new officers.

The Friends of the Library is once again sponsoring a “Pumpkin Painting” night at the Library on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:00 PM and a second session at 7:00 PM. Pre-registration for this event is required as pumpkins are limited. The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There will be no charge for Friends of the Library Members. Please call the Library at 419-375-2869 to register.

There will be a PAC meeting on Monday October 12th at 11:00 at the EMS.

Pickup day for the Cooper Farms Canned Meats Fundraiser will be Wednesday October 28th from 2:30-6:30 at the bus barn. Parents if you have any questions please call the office at 419-375-2768.

Students are reminded to turn in their Veteran’s Day paper to honor our area service men and women. Please make sure you include a photo which will be scanned and returned to you. You can email pictures to Cindy Moorman at [email protected] if you prefer. Extra forms are available in the office. Turn in forms and pictures to the Middle School Office by Wednesday, November 4th

This year we are focusing on what I call the 6 pillars of character. They are:

You can view these character words on banners hanging from Main Street. We expect that you will treat the banners with respect by not touching them. This week we will focus on Respect.
