Welcome to Fort Recovery Middle School

"Better Today Than You Were Yesterday. Better Tomorrow Than You Were Today.”

Welcome to Fort Recovery Middle School!  FRMS encompasses grades 6-8 and currently has approximately 210 students total in those grades.  We strive to provide an education that is equitable to all students, and we work hard to achieve constant improvement.  As our school motto states, "Better Today Thank You Were Yesterday, Better Tomorrow Than You Were Today."

As a school, we work hard to instill the "R Factor" into our students.  The "R Factor" pertains to one's response to an event.  Events cannot always be controlled.  However, our repsonse to those events helps determine the outcome.  E(vent) + R(esponse) = O(utcome).  When students take ownership of their work, are self-motivated, organized, and work well together, responses to events are handled in a manner that can provide a much more desirable outcome.  These are skills we value as a staff and work hard to instill into our students.

A school is most successful when all stakeholders play a role in the education of the students.  This includes the students themselves, parents, families, teachers, administration and the community.  We are lucky to live in a community where we have the support of all of these stakeholders.  Together we will work together to provide a quality education to all of our students.
